Harriman

Harriman went out walking on a snowy day.
After a weary walk he came to a bank of snow.
The top of the bank of snow was like a human
head.

"What of the day?" asked Harriman of
the head.

"Forty-four years to come, and forty-four
years to go, and all in a suit of tweed
,"
replied the head.

Then Harriman fell upon his knees and would
have begged for mercy; but the days were many
and they took him away.
